MEET THE DESIGNERS

Vidhya is the Virtual Designer for Sprints and Intermediates. She is currently in her fourth year of Bachelor of Science degree, Honors in Biochemistry at the University of Alberta. She is very fond of designing and solving challenges and as a part of C3 she hopes to inspire young minds to think innovatively in STEAM. During her free time, she engages in making origami and other arts and crafts.

Julia Kim is a student of Physics at the University of Toronto in her third year. She is very passionate about all things STEAM, especially as they apply to solving mind-boggling problems in Physics and Mathematics.

Angus Chow is a second-year student at the University of British Columbia, hoping to major in the field of Computer Science. Their hobbies include digital art and programming, and in their free time, they enjoy independently developing games of their own.

Ross is currently conducting a Master’s degree in psychiatry research at Dalhousie University. Outside of his studies, he enjoys reading, team sports, and taking his dog for walks. He is excited to create fun and engaging tasks and make C3 an amazing event!

Leyla is in her second year of a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Alberta with a major in physics. She grew up enthusiastic about STEAM fields and aims to continue creating an environment for more students to explore STEAM with C3. Outside of volunteering and schoolwork, she enjoys skating, sewing, and drawing!

Reina is in her 4th year Civil and Environmental Engineering at University of Alberta. This is her 2nd time volunteering for C3, first as a teaching assistant and now as a task designer. She loves long drives, seeing nature, hiking, and cooking.

Ahmed graduated long time ago from Biology (outside Canada) with specialization of Entomology, and he is now studying Engineering. He has joined C3 as Marathon Designer as of July 2022. He believes in STEAM importance to humanity and he feels the urge of collective education; that’s why he’s enthusiastic about C3! Apart from this, he loves reading, cooking, walking, and getting to know people.
