Meet The Executives



Jessica Bennett - Founder of C3



Jessica is in her second year of medical school at the University of Alberta. She has been involved in STEAM advocacy projects for the past 8 years, with the Canada CyberSTEAM Challenge being the 10th large-scale interdisciplinary STEAM competition she has organized. Jessica was inspired to found C3 to provide an easy-to-access platform for students across Canada to explore the possibilities of STEAM from their own home. Outside of trying out C3 challenges, Jessica enjoys spending her spare time cooking, kayaking, and playing flute.



Parsa Alizadeh - President



Parsa is a fourth year Pharmacology student at UBC, however, he will be doing CO-OP for the upcoming year. Parsa believes that C3's goal of universal accessibility to enriched academic opportunities is important to establish better equality. In his spare time, he likes to play soccer and binge watch Netflix



Saina Nemati - President



Saina is a fourth year Pharmacology student at the University of British Columbia. As a member of the C3 organization, she hopes to contribute in promoting equality for students of all backgrounds. Outside of school, Saina enjoys working in research.



Jainilkumar Patel - Interim President Elect



Jainil is a third year Biochemistry student at the University of Alberta. This is his second year involved in the C3 group. His hobbies include snowboarding, and 3D printing. He is looking forward to be working in C3 this year



Dharma Pandya - Interim President Elect



Dharma is in his 3rd year of his degree in Immunology and Infections. He is passionate about STEAM and wants it to be more accessible to individuals from remote communities. Whenever there is a chance, Dharma loves playing badminton and hanging out with his friends!.



Tony Wang - Interim Executive of Remote STEAM (Sprints/Intermediates)



Tony is a 4th year undergraduate student at the University of Alberta pursuing a Physiology major. He has a passion for all fields of science and visual arts. In his spare time Tony likes playing grand strategy video games and drawing fantasy maps for Dungeons and Dragons. Tony hopes to get students more involved with STEAM, encourage scientific thinking, and share his knowledge and passions!



Megha VS - Executive of Remote STEAM (Marathons)



Megha is an engineering graduate. She will be joining Ivey Business School to pursue her Master's in Business Analytics, starting this fall. She aspires to encourage students to explore the diverse STEAM fields. During her free time, she enjoys solving puzzles and watching movies.



Emily Tang - Head Director of Logistics



Born and raised in Edmonton, Emily graduated in 2021 from the University of Alberta with her BSc in Honors Neuroscience. She is currently a graduate student at the University of Alberta. Outside of school, she works with the Golden Bears and Pandas Athletics department, is a figure skating coach, and loves anything fashion or beauty related.



Aswitha Saravanakumar - Director of Media



Aswitha is a third year undergraduate student majoring in biological sciences and minoring in psychology at the University of Alberta. She's passionate about providing opportunities to students to explore STEM related projects. Outside of school, she enjoys working in research and going out with friends.



Mustansir Pindwarawala - Executive of Recruitment



Mustansir is a fourth-year Medical Sciences student at Dalhousie University and he will complete his BSc with Honours and Certificates in Physiology and Genetics. He is an aspiring medical student who has been working as a research assistant in a physiology and molecular biology lab that involves looking at mutations in retinal proteins. He has long been a STEAM advocate having attended SHAD in 2018 and starting up "STEM Union" in his high school. In his spare time, he enjoys reading mystery/adventure novels, exploring the outdoors, skiing, and playing/watching hockey.



Milena Casciato - Executive of Outreach



Milena is an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto. She is currently in her final year of a bachelor of science in immunology and physiology. She joined C3 because she believes students across Canada deserve the opportunity to explore and enrich their passion for science, technology, engineering, and math. In her spare time, she enjoys drawing, painting, playing the ukulele, and long walks in the cold.



Kabir - Executive of Fund Development
