Virtual challenge designer



Director



- Design between 1 and 4 engaging and age-appropriate challenges to be completed by C3 participants

- Attend weekly Task Testing sessions and meetings with overseeing Executives as required

- Modify their tasks as required by the Co-Executives of Remote STEAM- Assist with Station Moderator interviews and training



outreach



Director



- Attend weekly Outreach Director meetings led by their Head Director

- Assist in recruiting a team of 10 Outreach Directors spread across their outreach region

- Appropriately promote C3 to students in their outreach region (training provided by Head Directors)

Director



- Attend weekly Director of Recruitment meetings led by their Head Director

- Assist with recruiting a team of 5-10 Recruitment Directors from their post-secondary institution

- Complete lecture talks to recruit C3 General Volunteers at their post-secondary institution - Promote C3 volunteer recruitment on social media and in their community

- Will relay contact information for general volunteers from their university to their Head Director



fund development



Director



- Attend weekly or biweekly Fund Development team meetings

- Search and apply for funding through grants

- Contact local businesses to seek event sponsorships

- Assist in planning national-level fundraisers (ie. bottle drives, auctions, etc.)


It is up to each individual Fund Development Director to choose how they budget their time between grant applications, sponsorships, and fundraisers!

General Volunteer



- Manage the individual Sprint or Intermediate tasks for the event (explaining the rules and scoring)

- Ensure the tasks are performed in a safe manner

- Work well under pressure and with punctuality

- Adding the scores on a collective Google Sheets file

- MUST have a laptop/computer



TA & Judge



General Volunteer



- Judge and score multiple 5-minute presentations given by the students

- Be a TA for a few hours (includes being on a Zoom call and answering questions)

- *Marathon judges do not need to attend training, instead, an info sheet will be given.
